Primoris … for a better world: support for Exchange vzw and Food Support Ghent

The second edition of Primoris…for a better world has ended and could also this year count on a lot of support from our customers and our employees. This year Primoris will allocate a total of € 20.000 for two charities or projects, with one being suggested by our customers and another by our employees. This year, Exchange vzw and Food Support Ghent have been selected.

Primoris Belgium nominated for Trends Gazellen 2020

Last week we received news that Primoris Belgium has been officially nominated for the Trends Gazellen 2020, more specifically in the category medium-sized companies in East Flanders! Quality: Relana recognition sucessfully renewed in 2020

Primoris will also be part of Relana in 2020. Additionally, Primoris is the only laboratory in the Benelux that is part of the select group of recognised Relana laboratories. For the moment, only 10 laboratories in Europe meet the high level criteria of Relana:

ISO 14001 recognition successfully renewed
|
|
|
|
|
The environmental management system of Primoris Belgium is officially certified by LRQA for the ISO 14001:2015 standard. LRQA checks our system annually and we are extremely pleased that our recognition has been successfully renewed for 2020. We are convinced that we all have to make an effort to face the current environmental challenges.

Legislation: Update European legislation
|
|
|
|
|
This fall, a number of interesting modifications in the European legislation have been published. For instance, on 18 November, an EU MRL update has been activated for 1-decanol, 2,4-D, ABE-IT 56, cyprodinil, dimethenamid, fatty alcohols, florpyrauxifen-benzyl, fludioxonil, fluopyram, mepiquat, pendimethalin, picolinafen, pyraflufen-ethyl, pyridaben, S-abscisic acid and trifloxystrobin. On 18 May 2020, an EU MRL update will be activated as well for amitrole, fipronil, flupyrsulfuron-methyl, imazosulfuron, isoproturon, orthosulfamuron and triasulfuron.

Ciboris: food safety culture in the spotlight in 2020
|

In 2020, Ciboris organises some interesting trainings for persons in charge of quality and purchase in the agri-food sector. There will be a special focus on food safety culture (the humane dimension in food safety management). Nowadays, food safety culture is being incorporated more and more in requirements of different quality standards like BRC and ISO.

New manager for Primoris Colombia
